Programos mokestis (Program Fee): 1850 Lt. (Pastaba: 2008 m. vasarą buvo taikoma super-nuolaida - 890 LTL mokestis, ir tuo atveju jei DRAUGAI priimami kartu.) Taikomas UŽSTATAS (Refundable deposit) 500 LTL - grąžinamas gruodžio mėnesį atidirbusiems iki nurodytos datos LAPKRIČIO mėnesį (refundable in December for participants who fullfiled obligation to work up to the set date in November).
Reikalavimai kandidatams: 1. gera šnekamoji anglų kalba (ATRANKA INTERVIU TELEFONU su programos rengėjais), 2. atvykus privalomas narkotikų testas (tik neigiamas testo rezultatas leidžia pradėti darbą), 3. dirbti iki nurodytos datos LAPKRIČIO mėnesį.
Programos pradžia: BIRŽELIS (paprastai - antra pusė / pabaiga) - LIEPA (atvykimas paprastai sekmadieniais, o pirmadienį ryte reikia jau būti parko Personalo skyriuje - dokumentų tvarkymui, trumpam interviu-testui anglų kalba, narkotikų testui). Programos pradžia konkrečiam dalyviui paskiriama atsižvelgiant į jo/s pageidavimą (kada anksčiausiai gali atvykti) ir į darbovietės poreikį konkrečiai datai. Galima programos pradžios data aptariama, kai vyksta INTERVIU (dėl priėmimo į šį programos variantą) TELEFONU su programos rengėjais. Pastaba: Ankstesnės datos užsipildo greičiausiai, tad prašom neatidėlioti registruotis PLC, kai prasideda priėmimas.
PAY INFORMATION: Participants will make more money in this company than standard as they will also receive a bonus at the end of the season: The rate of pay - National Minimal Wage. Employer also pays an additional END OF SEASON bonus of 0.10 GBP per hour. (participants who worked for this employer last season will get the higher bonus - 0.50 GBP per hour). This END OF SEASON bonus is only paid at the end of your contract. To receive the bonus you must work until the date you have specified on your contract (in November). You will also accrue holiday pay at a rate of 0.51 GBP per hour. This also is paid out at the end of your contract (in November). You will pay National Insurance and Income Tax on your earning. Income tax may be reclaimable.
Amusement park employs up to 1500 staff during the season. The attractions include 147 rides, 45 catering units and 21 shops. There are also 3 major shows including an ice skating show. There are a number of department and different jobs. The main departments being Park Catering, Retail, Ticket Sales, Children Rides, Ride Operations, Ice Arena, The Globe Theatre and the Casino Building which incorporates the Award winning restaurant together with other restaurants, cafeteria, bars, function rooms and show venues. Brief jobs descriptions are below but be aware we cannot guarantee which department you will be working in, this depends on the current vacancies when you arrive and also your level of English.
Job Descriptions: A brief description of the main positions are listed below: Park Catering: This is the largest department and consists of 45 units which can vary between small units selling burgers, hot dogs, candyfloss and drinks etc to cafes, pubs and even an Italian restaurant. The job may involve serving customers, taking payment, clearing tables, preparing food and washing plates and cutlery etc. Casino Building: This is not actually a casino but a large building, which includes bars, cafes, function rooms, a show bar and the high class White Tower restaurant. Duties in this department can include bar person, café assistants, silver service waiting staff, selling show tickets in the box office, kitchen assistants and general operatives who can work in any area. Ride Operations: Ride operators assist customers onto the rides, take tickets and operate the ride itself. A high level of English is required for this job as the Health and Safety manuals have to be read and understood in case of an emergency. Beaver Creek: This is the area of the park specially designed for younger children; the duties will be very similar to the ride operators above. Ticket Sales: Ticket Sales staff sell ride tickets, show tickets and offer information to the customers at various points around the park including coach parties and group bookings. Again, a high level of English is required because customers will ask many questions including prices, opening times, directions and special requirements etc. Retail: The retail department consists of 21 shops on the park selling gifts and souvenirs. The duties will include serving customers and taking payment. Globe and Ice Arena: These are the buildings where two of the major shows are presented. Duties in this department will include working in the bar and café, selling tickets in the box office and during the performances showing customers to their seats and selling programmes.
APGYVENDINIMAS: programos rengėjai parūpina nakvynę pirmai savaitei (iš ANKSTO SUDERINTOMS ATVYKIMO DATOMS), mokestis paprastai (ankstesnių metų duomenys): £ 50 per week based on 3 people sharing a room, £ 70 per week based on 2 people sharing a room.
Pastaba - pageidaujantiems dirbti ILGIAU (ir PO lapkričio mėn. nurodytos datos) galimos alternatyvos: - likti dirbti tame pačiame parke ir žiemos sezono metu (jei gerai užsirekomenduos darbe), šiek tiek mažesniu krūviu (parkas neužsidaro visiškai, bet lankytojų žiemos sezono metu gerokai mažiau nei birželio spalio mėn.), - spalio pradžioje prašyti programos rengėjų surasti kitą paskyrimą kitoje darbovietėje (paprastai viešbutyje) dirbti dar bent 3 12 mėn. (sumokant rengėjų nurodytą naują programos mokestį, dviems pageidaujantiems kartu mokestis gali būti didesnis / "Work Together" variantas), - per kelis mėnesius (dirbant parke) pačiam/ai susirasti kitą darbovietę darbui po lapkričio nurodytos datos, - spalio pradžioje kreiptis į PLC dėl galimybių gauti paskyrimą kitoje darbovietėje D.Britanijoje (taikomas kitos programos mokestis, paprastai - su nuolaida).
